Job summary

Fortive is seeking an assembler to join our manufacturing team in Seattle. The role focuses on assembling compressor stations, dispensers, and CNG equipment by following engineering drawings and procedures.

Candidates should demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, safety consciousness, and the ability to learn tube bending. The position requires using measuring tools and maintaining quality standards while returning unused materials and documenting discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Safety-conscious with a strong safety record.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Proficient with measuring tools (tape measures, scales).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn tube bending.
• Able to follow engineering drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review print package to understand project scope.
• Inspect the material provided on the work order for correctness and conformance to ANGI quality standards.
• Assemble the compressor, dispenser or other equipment using proper assembly methods and procedures.
• Notify the area supervisor of any questionable situation or non-conforming parts; write a Non-Conformance Report per ANGI standards.
• Return unused materials to rack with proper paperwork; identify BOM discrepancies and propose solutions.
• Identify suspect materials and rejected parts with a rejected tag per ANGI procedures.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe working area.
• Additional duties as assigned.
