Job summary

AAON in Redmond, Oregon is seeking entry-level Assemblers to support our production operations on a fast-paced assembly line, rotating through positions like assembly, piping, electrical, finishing, testing, and wrapping.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to use and read measuring tools
• Able to work well both independently and with others
• Able to effectively interface with all levels of manufacturing personnel
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of inspection techniques and principles
• Good organization and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Work on a fast-paced assembly line rotating between positions such as assembly, piping, electrical, finishing, testing and wrapping
• Inspect product during assembly phase and after completion for workmanship defects
• Report results to lead or supervisor for analysis and actions
• Evaluate parts or assemblies against standards by reviewing blueprints, schematics or drawings
• Quarantine non-conforming material and complete the non-conforming material process
• Help design/implement methods and procedures for inspecting quality levels
• Utilize QC paperwork and electronic systems to fulfill inspection and record-keeping requirements
• Complete reports indicating inspection results or condition of shipments of materials
