Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. in Staunton, VA is hiring Weekday Production Assemblers to join our on-site team. Starting pay ranges from $24 to $28 per hour, with a 6:00am–4:30pm shift, Monday to Thursday. Bi-weekly pay and on-site work culture. Responsibilities include interpreting prints, assembling HVAC components and ensuring quality.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate various tools is required; a PIT license is preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous experience in an industrial environment preferred.
• Power industrial Truck license and usage will be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to heat, cold, humidity, fumes, chemicals and dust.
• Must wear PPE including hearing protection, safety eyewear and footwear.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, understand and work from mechanical prints, schematics and routing sheets.
• Work with various materials, processes, safety and quality assurance.
• Operate tools and equipment to assemble, paint, braze, test and move components.
• Use measuring devices and visual inspection to ensure quality and conformance.
• Maintain required records.
