Job summary

Nextech, America’s largest HVAC/R service provider, is seeking an Area Service Manager to lead Technicians in the Las Vegas area. You will report to the Operations Manager and demonstrate technical leadership, high craftsmanship, and clear communication while developing a team across commercial service.

The role includes recruiting, supervising, forecasting staffing needs, ensuring productivity, conducting weekly service meetings, and upholding safety and customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years as an HVAC Service Technician, management experience is a plus.
• Technical knowledge to provide value to technicians and customers.
• Maintain continuous education in the technical field.
• Must conduct professional conversations with customers and resolve concerns locally before escalation.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire technicians for the area.
• Supervise and develop technician workforce.
• Assist the Operating Manager with forecasting staffing needs and hire accordingly.
• Ensure technician productivity meets or exceeds goals set at review.
• Maintain local customer relationships with RSM and Account Managers.
• Lead weekly service meetings and provide scorecards.
• Perform ride-alongs with Technicians and train using company materials.
• Enforce company policies and maintain safety.
