Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HVAC Technician Apprentice to support installation and repair of environmental control systems at customer sites. This four-year, nationally registered program offers paid instruction time and on‑the‑job training while you work with seasoned technicians.

You will learn from mentors, gain hands-on experience with refrigeration theory, pipe fitting, and blueprints, and progress toward a professional HVAC credential with potential for advancement.

Qualifications

• No industry experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for 12 months with clean record in last 3 years.
• Strong desire to learn a trade.

Responsibilities

• Service customer products, equipment, and systems on-site; identify, examine, diagnose, and plan repairs.
• Collaborate with supervising field technician and customers to understand on-site installation requirements.
• Use software, hand-tools, and blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety standards and accountability for company assets.
