Qualifications

• Read and interpret technical documents and explain concepts clearly.
• Solid math skills including fractions and percentages.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make sound decisions with customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance and repair.
• Attend apprenticeship classes and pass classroom and hands-on assessments.
• Learn proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Measure, cut, and assemble ducts and piping, supporting setup and testing.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance under guidance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers.
• Participate in ongoing hands-on training to grow toward becoming a licensed technician.
• Work closely with experienced technicians to gain field experience.
