If you’re a recent trade-school graduate, hold a degree or certification, or are mechanically inclined, this full-time role focuses on safety, problem-solving, teamwork, and a pathway to becoming a licensed HVAC technician.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Solid math skills including fractions and percentages.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making.
• Comfort with computers, data entry, and basic software.
• Physical stamina to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Eagerness to learn from journeymen and grow in HVAC trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Attend apprenticeship classes and pass classroom/hands-on assessments.
• Learn proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork and related components.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance with guidance.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisors, and customers.
• Participate in ongoing hands-on training toward licensure.
• Work with experienced technicians to gain field experience.
