Gentry Service Group in Swannanoa, NC is seeking an HVAC Apprentice Installer for a paid training track with a clear path to a career in high-tech HVAC. You’ll learn with hands-on support while contributing to residential installs.

Starting pay is $16-$20 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus paid vacation and holidays. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional overtime as projects require.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
• Basic math and science aptitude.
• Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces.
• Good mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.
• Clean appearance and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Learn to perform change-outs, ductwork modifications, and equipment upgrades.
• Help unload and stage equipment and materials.
• Cut, drill, insulate, and build platforms as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Deliver a positive customer experience on every job.
