Wisler Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric in Rocky Mount, VA, seeks an HVAC Apprentice to learn from experienced technicians while gaining real-world experience on residential and commercial systems. This on-site role blends hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and inspections with classroom learning to build a strong foundation in the trade.

Starting pay is $20–$24 per hour, with opportunities to advance as skills grow toward certification.

• Driving experience with a clean record required.
• Background check: clean criminal history.
• Must show humility, drive, honesty and an outgoing personality.
• Occasional weekends and late evenings may be required.
• Clear, presentable, respectful communication style.
• Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in all weather.

HVAC APPRENTICE

$20-$24/hour

Reports to the job daily in Rocky Mount, VA

As an HVAC Apprentice, you’ll:

• Work hands-on alongside expert technicians to master HVAC maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, and inspections.


• Combine classroom education with real-world experience to develop your skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 yrs driving experience with a clean driving record.


• Clean criminal background.


• Must possess humility, drive, honesty, and an outgoing personality.


• Ability to work occasional weekends and late evenings.


• Clean, presentable, and respectful communication style.


• Physically able to lift heavy equipment, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and work in various weather conditions.


• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to enter and exit vehicles safely


• Lift heavy equipment as needed


• Work in various weather conditions while following safety protocols


• Capable of bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods
