Wisler Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric is seeking a Dispatcher to bridge our field technicians and customers in Rocky Mount, VA. This on-site role requires coordinating calls, maintaining dispatch records, and ensuring customer satisfaction as priorities shift.
You will work 40 hours per week in our call center, with on-call duties once a month after hours. Hourly pay ranges from $21 to $25, with benefits including health, dental/vision, life insurance, and 401(k) matching.

Job location: on site daily in Rocky Mount, VA
The Dispatcher is the bridge between the technician in the field and the customer in the home. This role is key to establishing the foundation for a successful customer experience. The Dispatcher is expected to perform effectively in an environment where priorities can change and learning on the job is never-ending. The Dispatcher is responsible for staying aware of Wisler technician competencies, geographic dynamics, and how best to interact with each technician to ensure the customer’s needs are met.
Dispatch all types of calls in a manner that results in the highest technician productivity and customer satisfaction
Consistently contact each customer before dispatching the technician and follow through on required communications and debriefings
Proactively record and maintain accurate dispatch records, document customer communications and provide follow-through on administrative tasks to ensure operational optimization.
1+ years of Dispatching experience preferred
Successfully pass a drug test
Maintain a clean criminal background
Preferably have prior call center or dispatcher experience
Willingly commit to work 40 hrs/week on-site in our call center
Be available for on-call duties once a month after regular hours to remotely answer phones.
We are open to training individuals from scratch if a solid candidate is identified
