Job summary

Sullivan Super Service in Pittsburgh, PA invites motivated individuals to start an HVAC career. You will assist technicians with residential service, maintenance, and equipment installations while learning to diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems.

Training and mentorship are provided as you grow into a skilled technician. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, thermostats, and IAQ equipment, with a safety‑conscious team behind you.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn HVAC trades.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Dependable, punctual, and coachable attitude.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in tight spaces or outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead HVAC Technicians with residential service, maintenance, and equipment installations.
• Learn diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating and cooling systems.
• Help install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Safely use tools and materials while following safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and service vehicle.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and represent Sullivan Super Service professionally in customers' homes.

What You'll Do

• Learn how to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating and cooling systems.
• Help install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Safely use tools, equipment, and materials while following company safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and represent Sullivan Super Service professionally in customers' homes.
• Continue developing your technical knowledge through hands-on training and mentorship.

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn the HVAC trade.

• Dependable, punctual, and coachable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• EPA Certification is a plus but not required.
