Job summary

Sullivan Super Service in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an HVAC Apprentice to learn on residential systems. You’ll work with experienced technicians and receive hands-on training.

You’ll gain skills in diagnosing, installing and servicing furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment, while upholding safety and customer service standards. EPA certification is a plus; strong work ethic and reliability are valued. Training and advancement await.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn the HVAC trade.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Dependable, punctual, and coachable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• EPA Certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead HVAC Technicians with residential service, maintenance, and equipment installations.
• Learn how to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating and cooling systems.
• Help install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment.
• Safely use tools, equipment, and materials while following company safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and service vehicle.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and represent Sullivan Super Service professionally in customers’ homes.
• Continue developing your technical knowledge through hands‑on training and mentorship.
