Job summary

Haynes Mechanical Systems in Fort Collins, CO seeks an entry to apprentice level HVAC technician to support dispatch, lead technician, and service supervisor. You will grow HVAC skills while attending Haynes University training courses to advance knowledge.

Pay ranges from $23 to $32 per hour, with full‑time hours from Monday to Friday, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 401K, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for HVAC tasks.
• Year 2 Apprentice level familiarity preferred.
• Basic HVAC task experience (filters/coil cleaning) is a plus.
• Regular and punctual attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dispatch, lead technician, and service supervisor to execute work orders.
• Develop HVAC skills through on‑the‑job work and Haynes University courses.
• Participate in training to promote HVAC fundamentals and advanced learning.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position works closely with dispatch, lead technician, and service supervisor to execute work orders and grow and develop further HVAC skills while also attending Haynes University Training Courses to further promote HVAC fundamentals and advanced learning.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to do basic tasks; clean coils and change filters
• Must possess mechanical aptitude at a Year 2 Apprentice Level
• High School/GED
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as required by the company’s insurance provider
• Experience with HVAC systems preferable
• Regular and punctual attendance

Pay Range: $23/hr to $32/hr
