Job summary

Haynes Mechanical Systems in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an entry-level HVAC apprentice to support service operations. This role collaborates with dispatch, the lead technician, and the service supervisor to complete work orders and develop HVAC skills through Haynes University trainings.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a mechanical aptitude at a Year 2 apprentice level. Pay ranges from $23 to $32 per hour with full benefits and on-site work expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic HVAC tasks.
• Year 2 Apprentice level mechanical aptitude.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Experience with HVAC systems preferred.
• Regular and punctual attendance.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position works closely with dispatch, lead technician, and service supervisor to execute work orders and grow and develop further HVAC skills while also attending Haynes University Training Courses to further promote HVAC fundamentals and advanced learning.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to do basic tasks; clean coils and change filters
• Must possess mechanical aptitude at a Year 2 Apprentice Level
• High School/GED
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as required by the company’s insurance provider
• Experience with HVAC systems preferable
• Regular and punctual attendance

Pay Range: $23/hr to $32/hr
