Qualifications

• Cheyenne registered apprentice license required, or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience in HVAC, mechanical, construction, or trade-related fields is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn HVAC systems, tools, equipment, and industry practices.
• Good problem solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
• Learn to identify HVAC system components and understand their functions (furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, thermostats, ventilation).
• Assist with diagnosing equipment issues and recommend repair or replacement under supervision.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks: replace filters, clean equipment, inspect components, maintain work areas.
• Safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, meters, and other equipment.
• Assist with equipment installations, including preparing work areas, connecting components, and cleaning up job sites.
• Other duties as assigned.

As an HVAC Apprentice at Marv's Plumbing & Heating, you will assist experienced HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This entry-level position provides hands‑on training and experience to developthe technical knowledge and practical skills necessary to advance in the HVAC trade. This position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the HVAC trade.

Requirements

• Previous HVAC, mechanical, construction, or trade-related experience is preferred but not required
• Cheyenne registered apprentice license, or be willingness to obtain
