Job summary

General Services Corporation is seeking a Service / Maintenance Technician III to perform HVAC repair, plumbing, and basic carpentry and electrical tasks in our residential properties. You will service appliances, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver excellent resident support.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HVAC and related trades, EPA Type 2 or Universal certification, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Have at least 3 years in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills.
• EPA Certification (Type 2 or Universal) is required.
• HVAC installation experience.
• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Initiative and customer service skills.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.
• Must comply with all environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.
