Jackson College is seeking an adjunct HVACR instructor to deliver course content in refrigeration, air conditioning, heating systems, and related areas.
You will teach on campus, at off‑site locations, or online, fostering a supportive learning environment and aligning with program goals while staying current with industry practices.
Responsible for delivering instruction in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) courses in accordance with industry standards and Jackson College’s curriculum. This role focuses on preparing students for employment and industry certifications through hands‑on learning and theory‑based instruction. Courses may be taught on campus, at off‑site locations, or online. Adjunct faculty are expected to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, promote student success, and stay current with industry practices.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of study and two (2) years of successful experience in the field; OR Associate degree in the field of study and five (5) years of successful experience in the field; OR State of Michigan Mechanical Contractors License and six (6) years of successful experience; OR Seven (7) years of successful experience in the field with recognized industry certification.
EPA 208 certification with type 1 and 2 endorsements.
