Job summary

Remington College in Mobile is seeking a dedicated HVAC diploma program adjunct instructor to educate and mentor students. This role reports to the Program Chair/Campus President and involves delivering instruction, assessing student performance, and supporting program activities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, an EPA-certified technical certificate, and at least three years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial HVAC systems.

• At least three years of related HVAC work experience.

Responsibilities

• Educates and trains students using approved instructional methods.

We’re looking for a talented HVAC diploma program adjunct instructor to join the team at our Mobile Campus. This individual will report to the Program Chair/Campus President.

• Educates and trains students in his or her field of expertise using accepted and approved instructional methodology.
• Teaches courses as assigned, instructs and evaluates students, develops students’ skills and encourages growth, and tracks their attendance, performance, and grades.
• Participates in various administrative activities (e.g., attends faculty/staff meetings or in-service meetings).
• Participates in graduation ceremonies, as assigned.
• Participates regularly in continuing professional development activities.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience Needed:

• High school diploma or GED
• A technical certificate (must be EPA certified).
• At least three (3) years of related practical work experience in residential and commercial HVAC systems.
