Class schedules will vary from semester to semester. Classes may meet in the daytime, evenings, weekends, or online. Faculty may be asked to work a split schedule (morning and evening classes) as well as teach dual enrollment courses in assigned high schools.
Associate's degree in HVAC or a related industrial discipline with five (5) years of direct experience in residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. Knowledge and experience in commercial air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems is required. The applicant must be able to work in a team environment utilizing effective communication skills. The applicant must also be able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and be able to develop programs and curricula to meet industry needs.
