Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. is seeking an Account Manager for HV Solutions in Southern California.

The role leads the sale of high voltage motors and medium voltage drives to end users, OEMs, and EPCs, while managing the full opportunity cycle from RFQ to order close. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years of related experience, and proficiency with CRM platforms and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or related technical discipline.
• Experience in high voltage motors, medium voltage drives, and turbomachinery sectors.
• Knowledge of OEM/EPC/end-user specification practices and procurement cycles.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM platforms and in-house quotation systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive bookings growth in Southern California, managing Solar Turbines accounts.
• Sell HV Solutions products to end users, OEMs, and EPCs.
• Develop and execute territory/account strategy and annual plans.
• Build relationships across engineering, procurement, project management, and leadership.
• Review RFQs, interpret specs, and determine quotation strategy.
• Lead RFQ to order close and manage pricing and terms.
• Maintain CRM data and coordinate with engineering and factories.
