ROI Agency in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to produce electrical infrastructure drawings for substations. You will work from design concepts to construction-ready plans, using AutoCAD or MicroStation and collaborating with engineers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to drafting standards, and ability to take direction in a fast-paced team environment. Two-year degree and 2–5 years experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree or equivalent drafting program graduate.
• 2–5 years of drafting experience with substations is preferred.
• Strong drafting fundamentals and familiarity with industry practices.

Responsabilités

• Produces mechanical drawings for construction such as equipment arrangement plans, sections, cable tray plans, switchgear layouts, and installation details.
• Creates electrical schematic diagrams and wiring/interconnect drawings with limited guidance.
• Ensures quality and consistency of drafted documents and adapts designs as needed.
• Collaborates with team supervisor and engineers in a fast-paced environment.
