Job summary

WSP is seeking Transmission Line & Civil Inspectors in Nevada to perform field inspections of HV/EHV transmission line construction, including structures, foundations, and substations. The role combines field office work with on-site inspections across the state.

You will generate inspection reports, support QA/QC, and coordinate with engineers, project managers, and contractors, requiring strong documentation, safety awareness, and travel as projects dictate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years field experience in HV/EHV transmission line inspection preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of inspection practices, QA/QC, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of overhead and underground HV/EHV transmission line construction, foundations, structures, and related civil components.
• Generate accurate inspection reports, daily logs, and photo records.
• Support QA/QC and safety compliance, and provide technical guidance to contractors and project teams.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure adherence to plans and standards.
• Travel as required by project location and schedule.
