Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Transmission Line Inspector for our Honolulu, Hawaii project site. The role includes field inspections of HV and underground transmission line projects, with the option to work remotely from the field and coordinate with the Power Constructors Inc Team.

You will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while delivering precise inspection documentation. Responsibilities include producing inspection reports, daily logs, and non-conformance records,

Qualifications

• Minimum 11 years of relevant post-education experience in the discipline with prior drafting and design support experience.
• Advanced knowledge of drafting/design principles, practices, processes, methods and techniques.
• Strong ability to perform technical computations and understand plans and specifications, and compare to standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide HV/EHV transmission line inspection support to engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with plans, standards, and regulations.
• Perform field inspections of overhead and underground transmission line construction projects and related components.
• Generate accurate inspection reports, daily logs, non-conformance documentation, and photo records.
• Ensure adherence to safety, constructability, reliability, and system performance standards.
