Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee construction site operations, ensuring efficient workflow and workforce safety. You will conduct inspections, manage workers, and coordinate with foreman and suppliers to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities include reporting field progress, planning resources, managing vendors, and enforcing safety procedures to protect personnel and equipment. The role requires OSHA 30 and a valid driver's license, with on-site presence most days.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• OSHA 30 certification required prior to site attendance.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Accurately report out and track field progress.
• Schedule, plan and allocate resources accordingly.
• Identify out of scope work and communicate to Project Manager, maintain labor/equipment records.
• Arrange and manage basic vendors such as scaffolding, traffic control, and Fiber Optics rental equipment.
• Support field crew to ensure smooth workflow (gathering supplies, customer management, site meetings).
• Correspond with Engineering, Logistics and Warehouse to communicate needs and resolve site questions or issues.
• Ensure field processes are being followed (JSA’s, safety audits, splicing records).
• Time Card Entry.
• Arrange tooling for splicers and cable pulling equipment in advance.
• Assist cost control measures (hotel negotiations, cheaper recurring supplies).
• Advises management of cost over runs, tracks T&M or other cost recovery metrics, and helps secure change orders.
