Job summary

Volkswagen of America, Inc is looking for a High-voltage Certified Service Engineer to support engineering and validation processes of electric and autonomous vehicles. This role involves maintaining test platforms, conducting troubleshooting, and updating hardware/software of engineering vehicles. Candidates should have over 6 years of experience in automotive engineering, preferably with electric vehicles. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. The position requires collaboration with teams both locally and in Germany. Occasional travel for business and training is included.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of automotive, electrical or mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience working on electric or autonomous vehicles.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain test and validation platforms including test benches and engineering vehicles.
• Perform hardware and software updates on engineering vehicles.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair test vehicles and equipment.
