Job summary
Volkswagen of America, Inc is looking for a High-voltage Certified Service Engineer to support engineering and validation processes of electric and autonomous vehicles. This role involves maintaining test platforms, conducting troubleshooting, and updating hardware/software of engineering vehicles. Candidates should have over 6 years of experience in automotive engineering, preferably with electric vehicles. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. The position requires collaboration with teams both locally and in Germany. Occasional travel for business and training is included.
Qualifications
6+ years of automotive, electrical or mechanical engineering experience.
Experience working on electric or autonomous vehicles.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
Maintain test and validation platforms including test benches and engineering vehicles.
Perform hardware and software updates on engineering vehicles.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair test vehicles and equipment.
