Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a High Voltage Cable & Accessory Technician in Fuquay-Varina, NC. The role focuses on high voltage testing (46kV and above) in a lab setting, documenting data and ensuring safety.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of HV cable prep/testing, be familiar with PD detectors and impulse generators, and possess the ability to read drawings and generate reports. Competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or local equivalent; 5+ years HV cable prep and testing experience.
• Two year technical college diploma preferred.
• Journeyman's papers preferred.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and write test reports.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform electrical qualification tests on high voltage cables and cable accessories according to industry standards.
• Prepare HV cables and install cable accessories for testing.
• Document test data and assist in preparation of test reports.
• Operate HV test equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
