Job summary
TE Connectivity Energy Division seeks a High Voltage Technician to join our Fuquay Varina team. You will perform electrical testing on high voltage components (46kV and above) in a laboratory environment to support Engineering, Research and Development.
The role requires hands-on experience with HV cabling and accessories, documentation of test data, and adherence to safety rules. On-site work in Fuquay-Varina NC, with potential coordination of tests at external premises.
Qualifications
- Plan and perform electrical qualification tests on HV cables per industry standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency with cable preparation and accessory installation tools.
- Requires a High School diploma or local equivalent and at least 5 years of related experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform electrical qualification tests on HV cables and accessories.
- Document test data and assist in test reports.
- Adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements during testing.
