Job summary

RP Global is seeking a technically driven High Voltage (HV) & Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Engineer to drive development, implementation, and operation of utility-scale renewables across Europe. You will lead HV grid connection, substations, BESS sizing, and integration, supporting EPCs, TSOs/DSOs, and lenders throughout development, construction, and operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Energy/Power Systems Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in HV engineering, substations, grid connections or renewable energy infrastructure.
• Experience with utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV grid connection and substation engineering activities.
• Define BESS sizing and technical concepts; review layouts and integrations.
• Support project implementation from design through commissioning and energisation.
• Assist with asset management, root-cause analysis, and operational improvement.
