Qualifications

• 4+ years of mechanical or electrical technician experience, preferably with high-voltage battery systems.
• Hands-on experience with automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools and mechanical assembly equipment.
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Jama for collaboration.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a lab environment around electrical equipment and testing systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering builds for test execution by following detailed work instructions, schematics, and engineering documentation.
• Install battery packs, modules, and components into environmental chambers, vibration tables, and automated test stations.
• Perform mechanical and electrical inspections on high-voltage battery systems and components.
• Record inspection results, measurements, and test observations with high accuracy.
• Enter test data into engineering and project management systems (Jira, Confluence, Jama).
• Assist with fabrication, modification, setup, and maintenance of test fixtures and equipment.
• Identify and report issues with test articles, fixtures, and test equipment to engineering teams.
• Support routine laboratory maintenance, organization, equipment calibration, and housekeeping.
