Turner’s Outdoorsman in Torrance, CA is seeking a Hunting Department Manager to support store leadership, drive sales, and uphold the company culture. This role partners with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to deliver a high-value shopping experience and responsible firearms handling.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of lead retail experience, strong knowledge of hunting, fishing/tackle, and shooting sports, and is legally eligible to work in a firearms environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate (or GED) required; college graduate or some college preferred.
• At least 2 years of prior retail and sales experience in a lead position.
• Knowledge about Hunting, Fishing/Tackle, & Shooting Sports.
• Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• May require Certificate of Eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Manage department operations and lead the team to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction.
• Provide excellent customer service and salesmanship.
• Advertise and promote Turner’s Outdoorsman products and events.
• Ensure customers enjoy a full, high-value shopping experience.
• Receive stock and display merchandise.
• Release customer firearms.
• Source, place and follow up on orders.
• Maintain audit records accuracy.
• Receive merchandise accurately.
• Assist with loading/unloading trucks (up to 50 pounds).
• Cover breaks in other departments as needed.
