Turner’s Outdoorsman is seeking a Hunting Department Manager in Torrance, CA. The role supports the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, driving sales, customer satisfaction, and profitability while modeling Turner’s brand and culture.

Essential functions include running department operations, delivering high-value customer service, merchandising, and overseeing receiving and order follow-ups. Candidates must be 21+, with 2+ years leadership in retail and knowledge of hunting/shooting sports.

Qualifications

• High school graduate (or GED) required; college graduate or some college preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail and sales experience in a lead position.
• Knowledge about Hunting, Fishing/Tackle, & Shooting Sports.
• Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• May require Certificate of Eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for operations of the Department
• Provides excellent customer service and salesmanship
• Effectively advertises and promotes Turner’s Outdoorsman products and events
• Ensures customers enjoy a full service and high value shopping experience
• Receives stock and displays merchandise
• Releases customer firearms
• Sources, places and follows up on orders
• Responsible for audit records accuracy
• Responsible for accurately receiving merchandise
• Responsible for loading/unloading truck-- lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Perform other duties as assigned which includes but not limited to covering employee breaks and/or lunches in other departments as needed
