We are so excited for Sarah to finally be accepted to vet school, but we have big shoes to fill! We are looking to hire for someone to help with our big game series of classes and hunts! Including elk camp!

This position is focused on teaching women how to hunt big game, many of whom are brand-new hunters. Anna is the lead big game guide, so please read her bio. She has been guiding hunting events for Uncharted since 2023 and created our region's very first women's archery camp!

  • Teach a brand-new hunter how to use their shotgun and make contact with a clay. See the shotgun 101 classes.

  • Take 2 photos of class: 1 group, 1 inspiring moment, and drop it in the Shared Google Folder.
  • Writing an educational blog about upland hunting.
  • CPR/First Aid & GPS Device
  • Technologically Savvy - Everything is done through our website, where you can view your dashboard of events and attendees.
  • Communication in the Team Slack Channel

Ideal Candidates:

  • Live near the Front Range of Colorado
  • Team player with great communication skills.
  • Good understanding of Google Workspace: Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar
  • Be able to teach our standard hunting classes. See description on our events page.
  • Can take a good group photo/selfie.
  • Wants to host community building, free hunting happy hours at coffee houses or breweries.
  • Wants to go on or help plan our annual team trip.

Not Required:

  • Guide School - This is not a requirement in the State of Colorado.
  • Private "traditional" guiding is not required.
  • Insurance, liability waiver, legal documents. (We have this taken care of.)

How Will You Grow?

We are looking to expand our big game series with an annual deer and pronghorn hunt. We would also like to provide hunter education certificate classes. We are looking to expand our Denver, Foothills, & Northern Colorado presence in the future, but first comes the efforts to build the community, which is what we are focused on now. However, we have a wide reach where you will be supported to expand, if you choose, as the demand grows. We would like to guide a grouse camp in Colorado again. We would like to have a team of 5 people in Northern Colorado who teach fly fishing, hunting, and foraging near Nederland, CO.
