Washington County, MN, is seeking a Criminal Analyst to provide strategic investigative support to assist in criminal investigations related to human trafficking. You will compile and analyze data from multiple sources, map crime trends, and collaborate with law enforcement and prosecutors to aid prosecutions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in sociology, psychology, criminal justice, law enforcement, or related field.
• 3 years of law enforcement, military, government or business intelligence experience related to the duties of this position.

Responsabilidades

• Provide investigative case support to assist in criminal investigations.
• Research, compile, analyze and map crime trends and patterns from various data sources.
• Look for runaways, missing people, and cross-reference information via open-source research.
• Create and maintain databases to track victims and traffickers.
• Review information from tip lines and advise law enforcement during investigations.
• Prepare administrative subpoenas and assist in charging cases for court.
• Plan and provide trainings for law enforcement and community partners.
