Job summary

Family and Community Resources, Inc. is seeking a Human Trafficking Case Manager/Advocate to provide survivor-centered services, including crisis intervention, safety planning, case management, housing assistance, and advocacy for survivors of human trafficking in our community.

The role requires two early evenings per week and some weekend hours to meet the needs of both survivors and the communities we serve. Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience and understanding of trauma and working with survivors of trafficking/domestic violence using an empowerment/survivor-centered model.
  • Must have a passion for working with all kinds of people to bring about social justice and change.
  • Experience working with child protection and criminal justice agencies a plus.
  • Must be able to multi-task and have excellent listening and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Valid MA driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Candidates proficient in Spanish, Portuguese and/or Cape Verdean Creole are highly desirable.

Job description

HUMAN TRAFFICKING CASE MANAGER/ ADVOCATE

Human Trafficking Program is seeking:

a passionate, creative, motived, flexible person to provide a continuum of survivor-centered services to survivors of human trafficking. Responsibilities include the following: crisis intervention, safety planning, case management, housing assistance, and advocacy to survivors of human trafficking. This position requires two early evenings per week and occasional weekend hours to meet the needs of both survivors and the communities we serve. Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

$500 sign-on bonus to be paid after six months of employment with a positive review.
