Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) seeks a Human Engineer in Everett, WA, joining the Human Engineering team to advance the design of mobility, surveillance, and bomber systems. The role emphasizes integrating HE considerations into system design and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

The position requires a BS in Engineering or related field, 1+ years in Human Engineering, and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance. Onsite work at Everett with occasional travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field required; 3+ years with Master’s considered.
• 1+ years of work experience in Human Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with MIL-STD and DoD standards is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Apply Human Engineering knowledge to analyze, design, and evaluate complex systems.
• Define system performance requirements for safe human operation across interfaces.
• Apply human performance principles to design of complex systems.
• Develop research methodologies and plans to test prototypes.
