Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Research Assistant – User Experience Studies / Human Research Coordinator in Seattle to support in-person UX research for Reality Labs, VR/AR projects. The role will involve preparing equipment, recruiting participants, and ensuring accurate data collection.

You will work onsite in Seattle, coordinating study logistics, maintaining confidentiality, and documenting study sessions while adhering to protocols and participant safety.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting human subjects research or in-person study support.
• Ability to execute research protocols and ensure protocol compliance.
• Experience setting up research equipment and adapting to technical needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel for data handling.
• Clear technical communication with non-technical participants.
• Strong interpersonal skills for participant interaction.
• Accurate data collection, documentation and data integrity.
• Coordination and organization to manage study timelines.

Summary

• Support in-person UX research studies for Reality Labs, focused on virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and emerging technologies.
• Prepare, configure, and troubleshoot research equipment and software before participant sessions.
• Assist with participant recruitment, scheduling, screening, consent procedures, and study logistics.
• Execute research protocols, guide participants through study activities, and ensure accurate data collection and documentation.
• Maintain participant confidentiality, organize research records, and track study equipment, schedules, and compensation.
