Job summary

United Launch Alliance (ULA) is seeking an experienced Human Space Flight Integration Systems Engineer to support NASA and Artemis programs. You will work with chief engineers and technical leads to ensure human-rating of Atlas V, ICPS, and Vulcan systems, evaluating safety risks and coordinating across multi-disciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes requirements analysis, system engineering processes, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, applied mathematics, or related field from an accredited college/university
• Experience with launch systems or spacecraft requirements and cross-functional teams
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Develop certification products and assess changes against them, including design standards and hazard analyses
• Evaluate human spaceflight safety risks and communicate findings to customers
• Collaborate with NASA and other stakeholders to address concerns and support CoFR
• Provide training for operational support positions to ensure crew safety
• Support proposals for new human spaceflight business opportunities
• Drive process improvement within the HSF team to manage scope and interfaces
