Job summary

ULA in Centennial, CO is seeking a Human Spaceflight Integration Systems Engineer to support NASA Civil and Artemis programs, focusing on maintaining human-rating standards for Atlas V, ICPS, and Vulcan. You will work with chief engineers and cross-functional teams to develop certification products, assess safety risks, and coordinate with NASA and other customers.

Travel up to 10% is required, and relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited college/university.
• Experience with launch systems or spacecraft requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop certification products and evaluate changes against those products, including human spaceflight standards and hazard reports.
• Evaluate human spaceflight safety risks and support presentations to customers.
• Collaborate with external customers to address technical concerns and support NASA CoFR prior to launches.
• Train for and/or provide training to others for operational support positions to support customers and crew safety.
• Support proposals for new business for human spaceflight programs.
• Drive process improvement initiatives within the HSF team to manage scope and interfaces.
