Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is seeking a compassionate Human Services Professional - Specialized to provide skill-building, psychoeducation, and supportive services in clients' homes, schools, and communities in the Superior area.

Under supervision of a Licensed Therapist or Therapist‑In‑Training, you will help clients build independence, develop healthy coping skills, and achieve their goals while traveling across the Bayfield/Ashland/Iron/Sawyer/Washburn counties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field is required.
• Related fields may include Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Marriage & Family Studies, Special Education, and other related areas.
• Experience with individuals facing mental health challenges is preferred.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the community are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family psychoeducation and skill development services.
• Support clients with daily living, parenting, social, employment, and community engagement skills.
• Collaborate with clients, families, treatment teams, and community partners.
• Utilize evidence‑based practices to support positive outcomes.
• Complete timely documentation and maintain accurate client records.
• Participate in recovery teams, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
• Respond to client needs through flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends.
