Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of public contact work in a human services setting, including interviewing and information gathering.
• An associate's degree in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related field with 1 year of experience in a human services agency.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist families in meeting basic needs such as food, clothing, housing, and employment resources.
• Provide transportation for clients to appointments, visits, and emergencies.
• Observe family visits and report behaviors, concerns, and progress to staff.
• Pick up and deliver records, letters, and documents for caseworkers and staff.
• Help clients connect with community services and participate in multi-service planning meetings.
• Support workers with home visits, safety plan monitoring, filing, mailing, or clerical tasks.
