Description of Work This position is located at Craven Correctional Institution located in Vanceboro, NC, which is a medium-custody diagnostic processing prison housing male offenders. The Human Services Program Manager works in the Behavioral Health Department providing services for the male inmate population. The facility is designed to house a maximum capacity of 850 offenders. The Human Services Program Manager II (HSPM II) is responsible for program management and supervision of the Behavioral Health program at Craven Correctional Institution. Work involves planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating the system for delivery of mental health services, providing direct psychological services to offenders with a range of emotional and behavioral issues, and serving as a liaison between subordinate staff and management at Craven Correctional Institution.
