Human Resources Technician & Office Manager

Metrica Inc. is a broad-based professional services firm established in 1984 to provide government and corporations with an array of program support activities. These support activities include Operational Management and Support (OM&S), Information Technology (IT), Professional Consulting, and Commercial Systems. Metrica’s OM&S services encompass employee relocations, international logistics, facilities management, and training development. Metrica’s Professional Consulting services provide experience and expertise in the areas of econometric analysis, human performance technology, and statistical analysis.

Metrica is seeking to fill the Human Resources Technician and Office Manager position. The job description and experience requirements are provided below.

Human Resources Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Company Policies & Procedures and Employee Handbook
  • Maintain H/R Workflow Processes
  • Conduct Employee Onboarding
  • Process Terminations and Unemployment claims
  • Employee Grievances - Assist with investigations and compile documentation
  • Benefit renewal and coordinate annual healthcare open enrollment
  • Responsible for Company 401k Plan Administration
  • Benefit Administration, enrollment and reconcile employee accounts
  • Process Medicare Coordination of Benefit forms
  • Year End Processing
  • Manage and Support in-house Payroll office
  • Annual DOL and Healthcare Reporting

Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintain OSHA Logs
  • Prepare/Assist with company certification applications
  • Maintain Corporate Insurance Policies
  • Maintain Company President’s Records
  • Provide administrative support to CEO & President as needed
  • Purchase items for the office

Training or Experience Preferred:

5 Years of Human Resources Experience

Minimum of 3 Years Experience in an Executive Support Roll

Basic Accounting Experience is a plus

Costpoint People experience is a plus

Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential

Highly motivated, self-starter, and able to meet hard deadlines

Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
