Kendall Auto Group in Meridian, Idaho is seeking a Human Resources Staffing Specialist to help welcome new hires and support HR operations for 2,700+ employees across five states. This on-site role emphasizes organization, people skills, and maintaining accurate employee information.

You’ll complete background checks, pre-screen candidates with Hiring Managers, onboard new teammates, handle HR inquiries by phone, and contribute to various HR projects and tasks, all while upholding

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of office experience (background check experience a plus).
• Strong communication, grammar and data entry skills.
• Experience with background checks is a plus.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and various computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Complete background checks and support the hiring process.
• Pre-screen candidates with Hiring Managers and ensure timely contact.
• Maintain contact with HR Manager and Hiring Manager during background checks.
• Move candidates through the entire process promptly.
• Onboard new team members through hiring, onboarding, orientation.

As part of our Human Resources team, you'll help support more than 2,700 employees across the 5 states where Kendall operates. From welcoming new hires to keeping HR processes running smoothly, you'll play an important role in creating a great employee experience. This is an on-site position in Meridian, Idaho.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Completing background checks and supporting the hiring process
• Working with Hiring Managers to pre-screen candidates and ensure we are contacting candidates quickly
• Maintaining contact with HR Manager and Hiring Manager throughout background check process
• Ensuring all candidates are moved through the entire process in a timely manner; Our goal is to contact every candidate
• Helping bring new team members onboard through hiring, onboarding, and orientation
• Entering and maintaining accurate employee information
• Answering HR phone calls and providing helpful information
• Supporting a variety of additional HR projects and administrative tasks
