Job summary

Kendall Auto Group in Meridian, Idaho, is seeking a Human Resources Staffing Specialist to help support over 2,700 employees across five states. The role focuses on background checks, candidate screening, onboarding, and accurate HR data entry on-site in Meridian.

You will collaborate with Hiring Managers and HR leaders to ensure timely communication and a smooth hiring process, while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards. Strong organization and people skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational, communication and data entry skills.
• At least 2 years of office experience (background check experience a plus).
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and multiple applications.

Responsibilities

• Complete background checks and support the hiring process.
• Pre-screen candidates with Hiring Managers and ensure timely contact.
• Maintain communication with HR Manager and Hiring Manager throughout background checks.
• Move candidates through the entire process efficiently; contact every candidate.
• Assist onboarding, orientation and entering accurate employee information.
• Answer HR phone lines and provide helpful information.
• Support various HR projects and administrative tasks.

As part of our Human Resources team, you'll help support more than 2,700 employees across the 5 states where Kendall operates. From welcoming new hires to keeping HR processes running smoothly, you'll play an important role in creating a great employee experience. This is an on-site position in Meridian, Idaho.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Completing background checks and supporting the hiring process


• Working with Hiring Managers to pre-screen candidates and ensure we are contacting candidates quickly


• Maintaining contact with HR Manager and Hiring Manager throughout background check process


• Ensuring all candidates are moved through the entire process in a timely manner; Our goal is to contact every candidate


• Helping bring new team members onboard through hiring, onboarding, and orientation


• Entering and maintaining accurate employee information


• Answering HR phone calls and providing helpful information


• Supporting a variety of additional HR projects and administrative tasks
