Reporting to the Assistant Director of Employee Records and Leave, the HR Specialist supports the accurate and timely processing of personnel and payroll-related actions across all employee types. The position ensures compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations while serving as a key resource to departments regarding HR processes, Workday transactions, and payroll-related requests in a high-volume work environment. The role contributes to the integrity of HR data and supports the effective administration of employee records and leave programs.
Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
This position requires a background check. In conjunction with the University's policy, this position may also require a credit check. The holder of this position is designated as a "Responsible Employee" pursuant to their role under Title IX.
