Role Overview
The HR Operations Specialist will support day-to-day HR operations, HR systems, employee data, reporting, process documentation, and special HR projects.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with sensitive employee information, troubleshooting HR‑related issues, and partnering with employees and leaders across different levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to incoming HR requests and tickets through an HR Center of Excellence system.
- Perform employee and organizational data updates within HR systems.
- Maintain accurate employee data while ensuring confidentiality, consistency, and compliance.
- Support HR systems administration, troubleshooting, and process execution.
- Assist with implementation and improvement of HR systems, workflows, and processes.
- Document HR workflows, procedures, and business processes.
- Conduct HR data audits and help identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Assist with HR reporting and data‑related requests.
- Support training initiatives through workflow documentation, process development, and change‑management activities.
- Help identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiency, and consistency.
- Participate in special HR projects and cross‑functional initiatives as business needs arise.
- Provide reliable and professional support to employees and managers throughout the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Ideally 4–5 years of progressive experience in HR operations, HR systems administration, HR shared services, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with HR systems administration, reporting, data management, and HR process execution.
- Ability to troubleshoot HR system or process issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical improvements.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to apply HR policies and compliance standards consistently and accurately.
- Strong ability to manage sensitive employee information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Experience working with HR data, reporting, audits, and process documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
What Will Make You Successful
We are looking for someone who is:
- Agile and adaptable — able to shift between different tasks and priorities throughout the day.
- Sharp and analytical — able to connect the dots quickly, recognize issues, and understand how different HR processes impact one another.
- Proactive — someone who takes initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do next.
- A strong problem solver who can identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with all levels of an organization.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with HR, management, training, and other departments.
- Comfortable working in a changing environment where responsibilities may evolve based on business needs.
Why This Opportunity?
This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of HR operations rather than being limited to one function. You will gain exposure to HR technology, employee data, reporting, compliance, process improvement, training support, and special projects while contributing directly to improvements in how HR operates.
If you have strong HR operations experience, enjoy solving problems, and are comfortable working with both people and systems, we want to hear from you.
