Job summary

Janco, Inc. is seeking an on-site Human Resources & Safety Manager in Rollinsford, NH. The role oversees payroll, benefits, and safety compliance while partnering with leadership to drive HR initiatives.

Responsibilities include employee onboarding, policy development, and maintaining state/federal compliance, as well as coordinating open enrollment and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English for communicating and reading safety instructions, procedures, and customer orders and parts.
• Familiar with state and federal employment laws, OSHA safety requirements and reporting and 401(k) and benefits administration.
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication, and strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work closely with President and all other management personnel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the company's personnel and payroll records in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain work rules and the Employee Manual.
• Recruit qualified candidates for all vacancies.
• New hire orientation and onboarding.
• Run weekly company payroll and related reports; maintain BambooHR and Synerion time clock systems.
• Administer open enrollment programs for medical & dental benefits, 401(k), and other benefit programs; obtain renewal quotes.
• Develop and maintain all aspects of the company's safety program, including OSHA reporting and compliance.
• Manage and maintain all workers' compensation claims and records.
• Organize annual employee company picnic and other employee appreciation events.
• Perform and complete other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Running weekly company payroll and related reports, maintaining the BambooHR and Synerion time clock electronic systems
• Administering open enrollment programs for medical & dental benefits, 401(k), and other benefit programs; obtaining insurance renewal quotes both for benefits as well as Commercial lines of insurance
• Develop and maintain all aspects of the Company's safety program, including OSHA reporting and compliance
• Manage and maintain all worker's compensation claims and records
• Organizing annual employee company picnic and other employee appreciation events
• Perform and complete other tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Office work environment, to include sitting, standing and walking

Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.

Education & Experience Requirements

Prior experience managing payroll and/or HR systems preferred.
Prior benefits management experience preferred.
Experience working with ISO 13485, FDA-regulated, or cleanroom manufacturing environment a bonus.
