Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage is seeking an HR Representative to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and timekeeping for the Ridgeville facility. You will partner with leaders to address employee needs and drive engagement while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years as an HR Generalist. Proficiency with MS Office is expected; PHR or equivalent certification is a plus. This is an on-site position in South Carolina.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years' prior experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
• Experience with HR information and applicant tracking systems preferred.
• Must be able to work in a matrixed-reporting environment.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams.
• PHR or equivalent certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily human resources support in a cold storage facility, including recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, investigation support, benefits and timekeeping.
• Build trusting relationships with leaders and employees through genuine interactions and support.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for leaders on employee relations, recruiting and learning & development.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives to ensure high job satisfaction for Arcadia employees.
• Manage facility communications with social media, newsletters, and presentations to keep staff informed.
• Advocate and support location safety and OSHA compliance.

The HR Representative role will be responsible for directly supporting employees and leaders in the recruiting, employee relations, learning and development and benefits administration efforts at the facility. This role will provide a helpful, professional, and confidential presence for all employees.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Provide daily human resources support in a cold storage facility. Duties include recruiting, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, investigation support, employee benefits and timekeeping support.
• Build trusting relationships with both leaders and employees through genuine interactions and support
• Serve as a trusted business partner and counsel for local leaders on employee relations, recruiting and learning and development issues.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives to ensure high levels of job satisfaction for all Arcadia employees.
• Manage communications within the facility. Create social media postings, newsletters, presentations and other media forums to keep employees up to date on company initiatives and happenings
• Advocate and support location’s safety and security policies. Ensure OSHA compliance.
