Job summary

WellnessSpace Brands in Clearwater, FL is seeking an on-site Human Resources Representative to support day-to-day HR operations at our manufacturing facility. You will be the primary contact for employees and supervisors on HR matters, handling recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, policy compliance, training coordination, and benefits support.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $24.31 to $29.28 and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 2–5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and OSHA regulations.
• Experience managing benefits administration and employee relations.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full cycle recruitment for production and administrative roles.
• Serve as the initial HR contact for questions and complaints; escalate to management as needed.
• Maintain postings in accordance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA).
• Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and leave of absence requests (FMLA, short-term disability) and return-to-work coordination.
• Coordinate required compliance training (safety, harassment prevention, EEO) and maintain training records.
• Assist with HRIS data accuracy and HR projects such as policy rollouts and engagement surveys.

You will be the primary point of contact for employees and supervisors on HR matters. Payroll and financial reporting are not part of this role. Responsibilities

• Oversee full cycle recruitment for production and administrative roles, including posting requisitions, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
• Serve as the initial point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and complaints; elevate to management as needed.
• Maintain required postings in accordance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA, etc.); assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
• Serve as the on-site liaison for benefits enrollment, changes, and general questions; coordinate with the benefits broker or carrier for escalations; administer leave of absence requests (FMLA, short-term disability, personal leave) including tracking, correspondence, and return-to-work coordination.
• Coordinate required compliance training (safety, harassment prevention, equal employment opportunity) and maintain training records; partner with the Safety Manager on incident documentation, workers' compensation claim initiation, and return-to-work programs.
• Respond to unemployment claims and verification-of-employment requests; maintain HRIS data accuracy for new hires, transfers, terminations, and status changes; assist with HR projects such as policy rollouts, engagement surveys, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience in human resources management or related roles with a strong understanding of employment and labor law and OSHA regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple HR functions including benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate initiatives across teams while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills paired with administrative experience in handling contracts, data collection, and employer branding related social media management.
• Working knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, OSHA and HR best practices.
