The Human Resources Regional Director is responsible for effective and compliant implementation of Presbyterian Senior Living human resources policies, wage administration and policies and processes. This position is responsible for coordinating recruitment and employment procedures, wage administration, employee relations, compliance training on federal and state regulations, and the policies and procedures of Presbyterian Senior Living. The HR Regional Director participates in the management of the job description process in compliance with Presbyterian Senior Living policies and procedures. Develops and implements staff education and training programs as assigned. Acts as a resource on human resources matters, advising human resources staff and Presbyterian Senior Living managers regarding human resources policies and procedures.

This position is assigned to the Eastern Region; this includes Kirkland Village (Bethlehem PA), Cathedral Village (Philadelphia, PA) and Westminster Place at Dover (Dover, DE)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required, master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of Three years human resources generalist experience required
  • Two years management or leadership required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor/employment regulations required
  • Prior recruiting experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required
  • Prior experience with computerized human resource information system (HRIS) required
  • Strong demonstrated written and oral communication skills required
  • Must relate well to employees and provide excellent customer service in all interpersonal interactions

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Provides general human resources policy and procedure interpretation and support.
  • Investigates situations as necessary and provides documentation of same for decision making.
  • Available to community personnel for interpretation of human resources policies and procedures; this may include, corrective action.
  • Responsible for consistent application of human resources policies.
  • Supports, trains and advises assigned community Human Resources Coordinators; this may include support to PSL as a whole.
  • Responsible for the developing and assisting with effective recruitment strategies.
  • Assists with the development of the Presbyterian Senior Living Employee Handbook.
  • Responsible for review and approval of employee corrective action for assigned region.
  • Assists with management of the wage administration process.
  • Participates in the annual wage survey.
  • Coordinates Presbyterian Senior Living Dashboard results.
  • Assists with the development, implementation and execution of community specific employee retention, appreciation and recognition programs.
  • Responsible for working with community management to identify staff education needs.
  • Develops and implements training programs as assigned.
  • Manages the Leave of Absence program and acts as an employee resource on leave of absence processes and issues.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of Ulti-Pro system modules and applications as assigned.
